Megan Thee Stallion is starting a new dance challenge to her hit song “Captain Hook.”

On Monday (Mar. 9), Megan took to Instagram to show off the dances moves to the challenge. She captioned the video, “#captainhookchallenge Y’all want the music video 👀?”

Fans across social media were quick to create their own versions of the #captainhookchallenge.

Megan also hinted at releasing an official music video for the song. “Captain Hook” was released on Megan’s newest EP, Suga. The release of the project, which Megan says is not her debut album, has been surrounded by controversy.

Megan had her fans worried when she went live on Instagram and revealed that her 1501 Certified Entertainment label was preventing her from releasing new music.

“When I signed, I didn’t really know what was in my contract,” she said on live. “I was young, I think I was like 20. And, I didn’t know everything that was in that contract. So when I signed with Roc Nation, I got real management, I got real lawyers, and they was like ‘do you know this is in your contract?’ I was like, ‘oh damn, that’s crazy no I didn’t know.’”

She continued, “Soon as I said, I wanna renegotiate my contract, everything went left. It just all went bad, it all went left. So now they’re telling a bitch that she can’t drop no music. It’s really just like, a greedy game.”

She then filed a for a restraining order against Carl Crawford and his 1501 record label. The restraining order prevented the label from being able to block her release of music.

Once Megan announced that Suga would be released on Mar. 6, Crawford called for an emergency hearing to try to block Suga’s release. His motion was denied.
