Earlier this month, Popcaan dropped off “Cream” single, which followed up his summer project release FIXTAPE. Now, he finally unveils the first video from the project for “UNDA DIRT” featuring Masicka and Tommy Lee. The sinister visual complete with black clad outfits, a priest, flames and a hearse to drive home Popcaan’s message:

Dem coulda run inna di church. Killa wi guh put dem under dirt. Di pussy dem fi know mi gun ah work, and dem gyal dem haffi see mi and guh. Dem haffi see mi and guh twerk. Dem coulda run inna di church. Killa wi guh put dem under dirt, di p***y dem fi know mi gun ah work, and mi bad from di fucking day mi birth.

In October, Popcaan connected with Preme to cook up their join project Link Up, which saw six new cuts and features from Davido, Wiz Khalifa, French Montana, and BEAM. Before that, August claimed the release of the aforementioned FIXTAPE, a 19-track offering that boasted assistance from Drake, PARTYNEXTDOOR, Preme, Masicka, Stylo G, Dane Ray, Frahcess One, Tommy Lee and Jada Kingdom. That project followed his 2019 release Vanquish, which was his first official project for OVO Sound. The release landed Popcaan at the number two spot on Billboard’s Reggae Albums chart during its first week of release.

Jamaica’s very own Popcaan has collaborated with many notable artists throughout his career, including appearances on tracks like Jamie xx’s “I Know There’s Gonna Be (Good Times)” alongside Young Thug, Drake’s “Know Yourself,” as well as Gorillaz’ track “Saturnz Barz.” Previously, Popcaan liberated his debut Where We Come From and its follow-up Forever in 2014 and 2018, respectively. The latter album debuted at #2 on Billboard’s Reggae Albums Chart. In 2019, it was announced at Popcaan’s popular Unruly Fest that he signed to OVO Sound.
