This past weekend, Future and Lil Uzi Vert released their long-awaited joint album Pluto x Baby Pluto, which boasts 16 tracks from the Atlanta to Philadelphia duo. Mere days later, they return with the album’s deluxe edition, which adds on eight more songs — most of which are produced by Brandon Finessin.

One standout from the new batch is “My Legacy,” which is centered around the duo’s wealth and relationships:

“I got dope in a satchel Patek, I went shopping, came back with Penelope, I’m in the clouds and I’m showing some elegance, I put my thumb in her butt for my legacy, I took a watch and I filled it with sesame/

I’m choppin’ the top and I’m speeding on ecstacy, huh, diamonds same color Sprite, huh, solid solitaries, huh, raggedy ho get topped, huh, snipers be all on your block, huh, blood all in your sleeve, huh…/”

Prior to Pluto x Baby Pluto’s arrival, fans have been able to enjoy individual releases from both Future and Uzi. The first was Lil Uzi Vert’s Eternal Atake, which saw 18 tracks with a single feature from Syd, and landed the rapper at the top spot on the Billboard 200 with 288,000 album equivalent units during its first week of release.

A couple of months later, Future liberated his eighth official LP High Off Life, a 21 track body of work with assists from YoungBoy Never Broke Again, Travis Scott, Young Thug, Drake, Lil Durk, Meek Mill, and more. That album also peaked at number one on the Billboard 200 thanks to 153,000 album equivalent units sold. Simply put, these two rappers have remained two of the hottest on the scene — a collaborative full-length was nothing short of inevitable.
