Last month, Travis Scott dropped off a new single titled “FRANCHISE,” which features assistance from Young Thug and M.I.A. Since then, the track earned Scott his fourth number one on the Billboard Hot 100 thanks to 98,000 album equivalent units sold, which includes 19.4 million streams during its first week of release. Now, he upgrades “FRANCHISE” with a remix that sees a dope new verse from Future, who delivers some of his best bars to date over the Chase B-produced cut:

“I made you get that Richard Mille and bust it down, b***h, I made you get that Patek, bust it, bust it down, b***h, I came from out the jungle with this s*** written on my arm, yeah, I’m a franchise n***a, yeah, ten Cuban links, I got game/

Yeah, bought my first Rolex servin’ ‘caine, yeah, told ya main thing, she the least, she can pour my cup, I put pink diamonds in your teeth, yup, fully loaded, tote the magazine, yup…/”

In addition to “FRANCHISE,” this year saw additional singles from Scott, including “The Scotts” with KiD CuDi, “TKN” with ROSALÍA, and “The Plan,” the last of which was Scott’s contribution to the Christopher Nolan film Tenet. His last solo LP, Astroworld, was released in 2018 and saw 17 cuts and assists from Drake, Gunna, Lil Baby, The Weeknd, Frank Ocean, Quavo, the late Juice WRLD, and more. Astroworld was met with overwhelming positive response, receiving the second largest first-week sales figures for that year thanks to 537,000 album equivalent units sold. More recently, he liberated the JACKBOYS compilation, which acted as a formal introduction to Cactus Jack Records artists Sheck Wes, Don Toliver, and Luxury Tax.

Press play on Travis Scott’s “FRANCHISE” remix below. The track will presumably appear on Scott’s forthcoming album, said to be titled Utopia.
