When it comes to hip hop artists this year, Travis Scott is arguably the biggest household name amongst his peers right now. More recently, he teamed up with McDonald’s for an unprecedented partnership involving his Cactus Jack meal and some dope merch for his fans. Hidden within that merch was a new single from the Houston star titled “FRANCHISE,” which features assistance from Young Thug and M.I.A. and sees production from Chase B, who originally teased the track on .WAV RADIO earlier this summer. As expected from the collaborations, listeners hear boastful lines of their commercial success upon pressing play:

“Caci, not no iced tea, uh, got ‘em bamboozled like I’m Spike Lee, you need more than Google just to find me, I just called up baby, get a hi-fey/

Incredible, ici-ici general, I just start the label just to sign me, uh, me and CHASE connected like we Siamese, we been on the run, felt like a crime spree

Talk to me nicely, I seen his face, seen it, yup, on his white tee.../”

The track is also accompanied by a cinematic visual that first premiered at select IMAX theaters along with Christopher Nolan’s current blockbuster Tenet — a film that also features Scott’s single “The Plan.” Scott took to social media to speak on the self-directed short film, hinting that the clip is for “The Saga Of Utopia,” which, as he mentioned in a recent interview with GQ, could point to a brand new album on the horizon:

“So imagine my version ... a place where we could just all sit across from each other and one side stops looking at the other side and where we all realize we’re equal. As just humans.”

Enjoy Scott, Thugger, and M.I.A.’s “FRANCHISE” video in its entirety below. Fans can also head here to pick up aforementioned merch in promotion of the hard-hitting cut.
