Fredo Bang continues to remain consistent with his music and visual releases. For his latest, he drops off a new clip for “Lately,” which is taken from the release In The Name Of Gee and features assistance from Seven7Hardaway. As with all previous efforts, “Lately” is produced by Hardbody B-Eazy and DJ Chose and sees the artists delivering subject matter for the streets:

“Top of the month, my shooter say he need his rent pay, I teach these n***as how to step like I’m their sensei, he drop a diss, I drop a bag, I get the bill paid, n***as talk like h***, I give a f*** ‘bout what a b***h say/

Pull up on your block, I bet you know it’s murda, lil’ one with the chain, they was hidin’ like some turtles, pull up with the chopsticks, b***h you know I drop s***, put him in a wheelchair, you would think he bang crip/”

Directed by Jolo, the accompanying video shows Fredo Bang and Seven7Hardaway making moves in Las Vegas, showing off money, flexing at a gas station, and cruising down the strip. Moneybagg Yo appears to make a quick cameo appearance in the lively clip as well.

In The Name of Gee was released back in September, boasting 15 cuts and — in addition to the aforementioned — also sees collaborations with Kevin Gates, Mulatto, Petty Levels, and late rapper Da Real Gee Money, which the album title pays tribute to. This year also saw Fredo’s official debut LP Most Hated, a 12-track body of work featuring Tee Grizzley, Moneybagg, Lil Baby, YNW Melly, and more.

Fans can press play on Fredo Bang and Seven7Hardaway’s “Lately” video below. Given his work ethic, one can expect more from this artist — including another full project, perhaps — in the near future.
