It’s only been months since Fredo Bang released his latest project Most Hated, which was released through Def Jam and saw the Louisiana star collaborating with Lil Baby, YNW Melly, Moneybagg Yo, Tee Grizzley, and more over 12 hard-hitting tracks. Currently, he’s putting the finishing touches on that project’s follow-up titled In The Name Of Gee, paying tribute to his fallen friend and fellow rap peer Da Real Gee Money. This week, he gives his fans a new single from that project titled “No Security,” which features assistance from Kevin Gates and sees the two delivering hard-hitting bars over production from DJ Chose and Hardbody:

“Put a brick on my wrist, put a brick on your mans, I’m representing the brand, they want me dead they got plans, hunnid shots in the Lamb’, catch a shot or be down, n***as switch, I can’t stand, want me dead or in the can/

I just caught one in the head, I ain’t running, I ain’t scared, I, I just ain’t tryna be dead, you know what I rep and you know what I bleed, we the ones put these n***as on tees…/”

The accompanying visual comes courtesy of BenMarc and MDotForMayor and shows the two rappers performing the track in different locations around their shared city, a dope union for the Baton Rouge hip hop scene.

Prior to “No Security,” Fredo Bang blessed his fans with the singles “Top,” “Receipts,” and “Monsters,” and “Clock Out,” all of which are expected to appear on In The Name Of Gee. In a recent interview with VladTV, he spoke on how Da Real Gee Money’s death continues to affect him:

“My mind naturally, I have been through so much, that it naturally try to block out things. I barely listen to Gee’s music, I don’t be liking to see posters of him … I can’t really explain it.”
