On April 17, rising star Fredo Bang will deliver his new project Most Hated, which was preceded by the singles “Yo Slime” and “Waitin’ 4.” Before the album’s release, he drops off another single titled “Trust Issues,” which — as the title suggests — sees the Baton Rouge rapper keeping it real about maintaining his guard:

“Heart cold as f*** from all the pain that I’ve been through, going to war up in the trenches, now I got blood up on my shoes/

Ain’t been sleep in 3 days, tryna put one on the news, steady talkin’ sideways gotta do what you gon’ do/

I been ‘bout that murder for a while, b***h you knowing me, my momma had 3 boys so you know it ain’t no hoe in me/

Three convictions on tryna find a righter way, I got n***as doing letters, never see the light of day…/”

The accompanying clip comes courtesy of Demarcus TV, and keeps things simple-yet-effective via shots of Fredo recording in his studio. All focus remains on the artist as he pours his heart out over the Hardbody B-Eazy and DJ Chose production.

Most Hated will be Fredo Bang’s first project since last year’s Pain Made Me Numb and Big Ape, which saw collaborations alongside Dream Doll, Derez De’Shon, NLE Choppa, Tee Grizzley, Moneybagg Yo, Kevin Gates, YNW Melly, and more.

In a recent interview with Flaunt, Fredo spoke on how he new that his career in making music was official:

When I came home from jail, in May 2018. I had put up a video of me singing “Oouuh” acapella, and I got 200K followers in a week or two. It went real viral so it showed me [I could do this]. I was doing a video with Einer Bankz and his ukulele. It’s a song that I never made or finished. I posted it to Instagram, it went viral. I already had 200K followers already, but it doubled.
