This past Friday (Oct. 20) marked Snoop Dogg‘s 52nd birthday, and a couple of his A-list friends decided to help him celebrate.

On Sunday (Oct. 22), the Long Beach legend shared a video on Instagram from his live set at Will Ferrell’s Best Night Of Your Life 2 benefit show, which took place in Los Angeles over the weekend. As seen in the clip, Snoop was surprised by the “Saturday Night Live” alum and fellow comedian-actor John C. Reilly, both of whom quickly generated laughs by breaking out a rendition of their Step Brothers song “Boats ‘N H**s.”

“Yesterday was a very special day,” Reilly told the crowd after the hilarious performance. “It was Mr. Snoop Dogg’s birthday. We’re about to sing ‘Happy Birthday‘ to the greatest rapper in the world!” A cake was also rolled out onstage, which prompted Snoop to light up a blunt using one of its many candles.

In an interview with PEOPLE, Snoop spoke on his secret to life as he gets older. “You gotta treat yourself, don’t cheat yourself,” he stated to the outlet. “Like fine wine, I’m aging better with time. But we really only got a short time here, so making the most of life and trying to be the best version of me every day by surrounding myself with good people, positive energy, and love.”

He also expressed his appreciation after finishing up the successful “High School Reunion Tour” with Wiz Khalifa, Too $hort, Warren G, and Berner back in August.

“It was amazing. It’s great getting to be on the road with my friends that have accomplished so much in this industry,” he said. “And we got to see people of all ages and backgrounds come through, from grandmas to babies. I think that’s a testament to not only the work I’ve put in, but the love I’ve shown the world. I’ve been able to evolve from generation to generation by being true to who I am.”
