Shortly after the news regarding Quavo and Kamala Harris’ get-together broke, Boosie Badazz got a hold of it and said he wants the chance to participate in gun violence prevention as well. The “Wipe Me Down” rapper took to his Twitter page to publicly request a meeting with the 58-year-old about what he can do to help make a change. “VP, I WANNA ADVOCATE FOR GUN VIOLENCE PREVENTION ALSO!! CAN YOU USE ME TO SAVE SOME OF THE YOUNGER GENERATION THAT’S LOST?” Boosie began. “THESE KIDS WILL LISTEN TO SOMEONE THEY LOOK UP [TO], WHO HAD SIMILAR CHILDHOODS BEFORE THEY LISTEN TO [THEIR] OWN PARENTS!!”

The Baton Rouge native continued, “VP, I KNOW I CAN MAKE A CHANGE ‘CAUSE I’VE BEEN DOING IT ALREADY WHEN I TALK TO THE [TROUBLED] YOUTH. [BOOSIE’S] WORDS HIT DIFFERENT TO THE YOUTH. (Assistant) 205-215-7895. VP, PLEASE TAKE THIS INTO CONSIDERATION.”

Quavo continues to honor Takeoff’s legacy by calling for action to prevent gun violence. The Migos rapper was recently seen at the White House with Harris, alongside his sister and Takeoff’s mother, Titania Davenport.

“Thank you Quavo, Edna, and Titania for using your voices to honor Takeoff’s legacy and call for action to prevent gun violence,” the vice president captioned clips of the meeting on Instagram yesterday (Sept. 20). As previously reported by REVOLT, the Rocket Power rapper’s nephew and bandmate Takeoff was fatally shot at a private event in a Houston, Texas bowling alley on Nov. 1, 2022. The Houston Police Department revealed that an argument over a dice game is what led to the incident; however, it was confirmed that the “Last Memory” rapper was not a part of the argument.

In other related news, last week, Harris hosted a star-studded hip hop 50th anniversary celebration in the backyard of her D.C. home. Lil Wayne, Jeezy, Common, Fat Joe, Slick Rick, Doug E. Fresh, MC Lyte, Roxanne Shanté, and more rappers were in attendance.
