Earlier today (Aug. 23), Blueface took to social media to claim that he was stabbed following a seemingly random altercation in the gym. As can be seen in a video shared on Instagram, the Los Angeles rapper was working out with his trainer, David Kaminsky, when a man and a Rottweiler entered into the frame. Things quickly devolved into an intense argument before Blueface got a few punches in. In response, the unknown individual appeared to retrieve something — the presumed knife — from his pocket before the video cuts off. A subsequent clip shared via Blueface’s IG Stories shows his bloodied limb.

As TMZ reported, Kaminsky said that the man in question shouted, “I’m gonna kill you” to his client, immediately raising tensions in the small space. Other witnesses stated that, after the alleged stabbing, the assailant fled and was driving a Tesla Model S.

As a result of his injuries, Blueface announced that he will no longer be able to participate in an upcoming sanctioned fight. “I won’t be able to fight Oct. 14 due to a injury, won’t have enough time to heal,” he wrote on social media. “Don’t say I ducked [nothing], bro… Came with a dog and a knife at 10 a.m.”

Back in 2021, Blueface made his amateur boxing debut fighting and defeating TikTok star Kane Trujillo in the Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship. This past April, he stepped into the ring for the Kingpyn Boxing platform to square up against Ed Matthews, another popular TikTok user, where he dominated the fight with four knockdowns and a stoppage. Other planned matches against eSports gamer FaZe Temperrr and former NBA player Nick Young were put on hold due to licensing issues. Whether or not the aforementioned October event will be rescheduled is yet to be disclosed.
