Murda Beatz warned his fans via social media a few days ago that he will be dropping a lot this year, and he surely kept his promise. For his first offering, he taps in with two hot names Wale and Blxst for their new collab single “One Shot.” On the track, the two artists feed off of each other’s energy as they ride a beat courtesy of Murda:

Life with a boss, girl, you can get if you want it, fuck what it cost, little bae, I’m ready to blow it (Yeah)/ No need to talk if you about it then show it, it’s never cap if I quote it, I better shoot if I tote it/ ‘Cause I’m giving you one shot only (Ayy) if you place any bets, it’s on me

Following the success of the last few years, which saw him produce Drake’s record-breaking “Nice For What,” the Migos super track “MotorSport” with Nicki Minaj & Cardi B and then Saweetie’s viral hit “ICY,” Murda Beatz has taken hip-hop by storm.

Fresh off some dope recent collabs like “Go To War” with Snoop Dogg and “Chose Me” with Blueface, Blxst returned with a brand new single recently. The Los Angeles rising star presented his newest track “About You” as he rode his amazing year to a celebratory close. A few months ago, Blxst treated fans to a surprise two-pack EP featuring Drakeo The Ruler and Russ. The pack is the first release since Blxst’s critically acclaimed debut project, No Love Lost.

Wale’s highly anticipated Folarin II project arrived back in October, and it included features from names like J. Cole, Rick Ross, Chris Brown, Jamie Foxx, and plenty more. He had a summer banger on his hands with his single “Angles” with Chris Brown. Wale has kept himself busy as a featured artist within the last few months, providing his show-stealing verses to songs by peers like Queen Naija, Skip Marley, Rotimi, THEY., Pacman da Gunman, EARTHGANGOmarion, and Westside Gunn.
