Over the weekend, rising star Blxst celebrated his birthday with another win. The California artist sold out his London show on his born day and had to add another show, and he expressed his gratitude by sharing a brand new loose track titled “Highest Altitude.” On the song, Blxst is feeling as confident as ever:

The bases loaded, let me bring it home and bein’ broke is what I can’t condone/ This that baking soda in a vacant home, let me put this apron on (Gangsta)/ Yeah, back in the kitchen again, cookin’ up a plate that motivate you to get up and win/ Made to be a boss with all these losses we took on the chin, this one for my niggas that be holdin’ they greatness within

This one for the independent women, stop playin’ with them, gave the city hope, no need to boast, but we litty again/ West side n***as ran the world since juice with the gin/ Humbly, I don’t pop shit, but I usually can, I just wanna get money, be healthy, stay true to my friends

A few months ago, Blxst treated fans to a surprise two-pack EP featuring Drakeo The Ruler and Russ. The pack is the first release since Blxst’s critically acclaimed debut project, No Love Lost, late last year. The project has been well-received, amassing over 100 million streams to date. With all of this going on, he has also always found the time to consistently release visuals for his track as well.

Blxst unveiled his No Love Lost EP around this time last year, and nothing has been the same since. The project has proven to be an undeniable success. With more than 390 million streams to date, No Love Lost rose to #3 on the Billboard Heatseekers Chart and helped solidify his place alongside his peers as a 2021 XXL Freshman Class member, a BET Amplified Artist, an Amazon Breakthrough Artist, and the inaugural recipient of Billboard’s Rising Star Award.
