What a prolific year it was for Soulja Boy Tell ‘Em. Last spring, he made a big return to the charts with “She Make It Clap,” followed by a never-ending run of loose singles from the “Crank That” star — “Rick & Morty,” “Mad,” “Copy & Paste” with T.I., “Squid Game,” “Pulling Up,” and the remix for “She Make It Clap” with French Montana are only but a few of those releases. He’s also blessed the masses with a wealth of projects, including Rich Off A Computer, Big Draco, No Looking Back, Swag 4, and Big Draco 2, along with collaborations alongside Bow Wow, Tadoe, Desiigner, Omarion, Lil’ Twist, (SODMG artist) Skinnyfromthe9, and more.

This year, he’s already back on a roll with new singles like “Pop My Shit” and “They Call Me Soulja Baby,” the latter of which made landfall over the weekend and sees production from 8goincrazy. The boomin’ cut sees Soulja keeping with his usual subject matter, which consists of a mix between flexing about his wealth and keeping things street-oriented for his detractors:

They call me Draco baby, I’m in the trap hustlin’ with my niggas and runnin’ up money crazy, all of these niggas be talkin’ down, but none ain’t gon’ do nothin’ to me, I just be ridin’ round wit’ the F&N, got heavy artillery…”

Recently, Soulja Boy took to Instagram Live to reveal that, come Jan. 21, he’ll be premiering a new docu-series on REVOLT. He also pledged that he’ll be focusing on acting and avoiding any conflicts with others moving forward:

Being Draco, new TV show January 21, 2022, we going into the year with all positive energy, you know what I’m saying? I ain’t got no beef with nobody. I ain’t got no smoke, no problems, no nothin’. All I’m doing is TV show and movies, I’m a actor now.”

Until then, you can check out both “They Call Me Draco Baby” and — if you missed it — “Pop My Shit” below.
