Soulja Boy has been temporarily pulled from “The Millennium Tour 2021” in the wake of Young Dolph’s tragic death.

On Thursday (Nov. 18), G-Squared Events released a statement saying that the “She Make It Clap” emcee would be excluded from the next few tour stops as a precaution. “In response to the tragic shooting death of rap artist Young Dolph, ‘The Millennium Tour 2021’ Tour promoter, G-Squared Events, has determined that rapper Soulja Boy will not perform during this weekend’s tour stops in St. Louis, Missouri, and Memphis, Tennessee.”

“The safety and welfare of our patrons are the first and foremost priority,” said a representative from G-Squared Events.

“We pride ourselves on bringing high-quality concert experiences to our patrons. In times like this, we will stop at nothing to ensure that everyone that participates in these experiences is healthy, safe, and quite frankly having a good time.”

As REVOLT previously reported, Dolph was fatally shot on Wednesday (Nov. 17) as he purchased cookies in his hometown of Memphis. No arrests have been made in his death, but officials have released images of the alleged suspects. The two gunmen were caught on camera firing their weapons into the bakery as the “Preach” rapper was inside.

A week before his death, Big Draco called out Dolph on social media for claiming he was independent and making $100,000 per show. “How da fuck I’m a independent artist and gettin 100rax plus for a show?” Dolph wrote on his Instagram Stories. “How da fuck @keyglock got more cars & ice than you & your ceo?” Soulja said Dolph was lying, and he commented under a blog, “That’s big cap. They signed to @empire I’m really 100% Independent no cap.”

He then went Live to blast Dolph after Key Glock sent him a direct message. “Man, Young Dolph, if you don’t get your bitch ass artist out my muthafuckin’ DM, nigga,” the “Crank That” rapper said. “Fuck you talkin’ bout, nigga? Nigga thought he was bulletproof ‘til he got shot like Dolph, nigga. Fuck you talkin’ ‘bout, nigga? Ain’t you the nigga getting shot at 100 times? Ain’t you the nigga getting popped and shot at all the time? Y’all bitch ass niggas better get out of my DM. Fuck Paper Route. Fuck Key Glock. Fuck Young Dolph. Fuck all y’all niggas.”
