Quavo has responded after some deleted social media posts prompted fans to once again speculate that Lil Baby and Saweetie are dating. According to XXL, on Sunday (Nov. 28), Saweetie posted a photo dump on Instagram. One of the pictures appeared to show the “Tap In” rapper sitting on a man’s lap, though the person’s face was not shown.

Internet sleuths quickly determined that the photographed man was Lil Baby, noting the resemblance between the man’s cargo pants and boots and an outfit that the Atlanta native was seen wearing earlier this month.

Fans’ claims about the photo quickly went viral and Saweetie ended up deleting the post altogether.

Quavo later shared an update on his Instagram Story, which fans believe was a response to his ex-girlfriend and labelmate’s rumored relationship. The Migos rapper wrote, “Ain’t trippin we can swap it out! #QCTheLabel.”

Fans believe Quavo was referring to Lil Baby’s on-again-off-again relationship with Jayda Cheaves, whom he shares a son with, when he said “swap it out.” Cheaves later “liked” an Instagram post about Quavo’s comment shared by The Shade Room.

Lil Baby later posted and deleted his own message on Twitter. “Bitches really be weird!!” he wrote. “If you want clout use BABY.” It’s unclear whether or not he was responding to the situation.

As reported by REVOLT, Lil Baby previously clarified that he’s not in a relationship with anyone after rumors circulated about his alleged romance with Saweetie. The allegations started with a story by Hollywood Unlocked, which claimed the “Wants and Needs” rapper spent almost $100,000 on Saweetie at a Chanel store in New York City last weekend.

The outlet also reported that there was security camera footage from the pair’s shopping date. During the weekend in question, Saweetie was in New York City for her “Saturday Night Live” performance. The following Sunday (Nov. 21), both she and Lil Baby were also in New Jersey together for Power 105.1’s Powerhouse 2021.

So far, neither have directly responded to the rumors. See deleted posts about the situation courtesy of The Shade Room below.
