Back in Septamber, Kodie Shane released her new track and video for ”Facetime” and grabbed herself a major win by locking down a feature with the legendary Rick Ross. She now makes her return this week with her newest offering “Let’s Not Fall In Love” featuring Jacquees. Both tracks are set to appear on her forthcoming Love Roulette project. On the new single, Kodie wears her heart on her sleeve:

Let’s not fall in love unless we have to if you do, I’ll be there to catch you (Catch you)/ I want you but can’t have you, can’t have you (Let’s not fall in love)/ I know you love me but I wish you wouldn’t wanna love me? Better beat my bullet (Bullet)/

Following the release of her EP, BLOOMING VOL. 1 in 2020, Kodie dropped a collection of singles, including “LEVELS”, “Breathe”, “Scared of You”, and “Umbrellas”, all of which show off Kodie’s unabridged artistry. Shane first came onto the scene with her breakout single ”SAD” featuring fellow Atlanta superstar Lil Yachty. Kodie would then sign to Epic Records, which led to her dropping her EP’s Young Heartthrob and Stay Tuned. Kodie later on decided to take the independent route, setting the stage for the next chapter of her career.

Last year, Jacquees blessed his fans with the mixtape Exit 68, a reference to his hometown. That project saw 16 tracks with assists from FYB and Trey Songz — the latter of whom contributed to the standout track “All On You.” His last official body of work — the aptly titled King of R&B, his second — contained 18 cuts with a slew of appearances from T.I., Tory Lanez, Quavo, Young Thug, Gunna, Summer Walker, Lil Keed, Lil Gotit, Lil Baby, and more. Future also provided vibes on the single “What They Gone Do With Me.”

Be sure to press play on Kodie Shane’s “Let’s Not Fall In Love” single featuring Jacquees.
