Today (Nov. 5), Key Glock officially dropped off his Yellow Tape 2 project after prepping fans for what’s to come with visuals like “Toolie” and “Ambition For Cash.” The project boasts 20 tracks and remains featureless to put his talent front and center. He keeps the momentum going today by releasing the official video for “Something Bout Me” from the project. On the track, he rides some production courtesy of Tay Keith:

Let me tell you n***as lil’ something ‘bout me, yeah, I got nine cars, they don’t need no key/ Glock on my side, I be riding through the streets I be getting to the money, I got need for speed/ Yeah, I don’t fuck with pigs, but I still eat beef, young n***as masked up like we from the Middle East

Yeah, young n***as with it, yeah, young n***as spinning your block, they don’t even know how to creep/ Yeah, let the chopper sing like TLC yeah, big chains sounding like bells on me/ Just told this ho she ain’t worth fifty cent, bitch, you know I’m a P I M P

Prior to this, Young Dolph and Key Glock dropped off the second installment of their well-received Dum and Dummer series earlier this year in March, which sees 20 new tracks from the Memphis duo. Add to that, they’ve also blessed their fans with top quality visuals for “I’m The Type,” “Aspen,” “Sleep With The Roaches,” “Penguins,” “Rain Rain,” and “Move Around.”

Glock connected with Dolph back in 2019 for the original Dum and Dummer, a body of work that became his best to date — it landed at the number eight spot of the aforementioned Billboard chart thanks to 45,000 album equivalent units sold. A year later, Glock liberated the mixtapes Yellow Tape and Son of a Gun, two projects that confirmed his talents as a bonafide talent in his own right.
