After an eventual 2020, Key Glock is ready to keep the movement rolling into the new year. Today, the Memphis emcee drops off a new music video for “Off The Porch,” a CHASETHEMONEY-backed effort that sees Glock delivering some of his best bars to date over dark, brooding production:

“I jumped off the porch and then I jumped in the booth, I used to ride 10-speeds, now I got a new coupe, young n***a humble, but I play it all cool, but don’t think this shit a game, I’ll put you on the news/

Choppas on us, put them choppas on you, yea the beam red and green, but the bankroll blue, got a bad bitch, she got a bankroll too, yea I be poppin’ my shit, she be poppin shit too…/”

The accompanying visual keeps things simple, with Key Glock riding in a dark room on a yellow bike before taking over the microphone, as only a yellow Corvette rests behind him. This clip was definitely intended to keep the focus on the Paper Route artist’s raps, with successful result.

Last year, Key Glock blessed his fans with the mixtapes Yellow Tape and Son of a Gun, two projects that proved his ability to create full-length projects without a need for contributions from his peers. Nonetheless, Key Glock could also be seen spending the last twelve months assisting other cuts like Gucci Mane’s “Lifers,” 03 Greedo and Ron-RonTheProducer’s “Drip Keep Going,” Lil Carter Park’s “Same Shit,” and K Shiday and Enchanting’s “No Luv.”

In a past interview with REVOLT, Key Glock spoke on his relationship with Paper Route Empire head honcho Young Dolph:

“That’s literally like my brother from another. We don’t even look at eachother on no business, everything is real … family.”
