Today, genre-blending innovators Majid Jordan release new track “Forget About the Party” on OVO Sound ahead of their new album Wildest Dream. The new project arrives this Friday (Oct. 22) will be the duo’s first album since 2017’s The Space Between. Crooning over guitar melodies, Majid Al Maskati surrenders to his feelings on the new song as he offers an alternative plan for his love interest:

Prior to this, the duo has been preparing fans for the new album with singles like “Summer Rain” and “Been Through That.” In more exciting news, Majid Jordan will be hitting the road next month to celebrate the release of Wildest Dreams.

The release of Majid Jordan’s 2013 debut EP Afterhours turned heads, eventually capturing the attention of OVO Sound. After co-producing and writing Drake’s 2013 6x-platinum smash “Hold On We’re Going Home” Majid Jordan’s sound catapulted into the mainstream and led them to signing to OVO Sound in later that year in 2013. They released their first official EP A Place Like This in 2014, and then swung back around to share the full-length version in 2016.
