Congratulations are in order for Kash Doll. The Detroit rapper announced that she is expecting her first child.

On Thursday (Sept. 23), the “For Everybody” emcee took to Instagram to share the exciting news. “The Lord just keep on blessing me!” she captioned photos of herself showing off her growing baby bump. “Look, it’s a baby in there and today it’s the ‘BMF’ premiere. I’m so overwhelmed with joy. #divineorder #Godstiming.”

So far, Kash hasn’t revealed the sex or name of the child. However, a new baby isn’t the only thing she has to be excited about.

Kash is making her acting debut in 50 Cent’s “Black Mafia Family” television show, which is set to premiere on Sunday (Sept. 26) on Starz.

She recently spoke to XXL about transitioning from a rapper to an actress. “The easiest part for me was a simple thing as far as just being able to sit still for a minute,” she told the outlet. “With rap, you’re chasing… You’re always running behind something. Trying to chase something and it’s ongoing. But with acting, you’re sitting still, you’ve got time to eat right, you’ve got time to get your mind right, learn your lines, go on set, see the same people every day. The easiest thing for me to enjoy was being able to be stationed and stable compared to when I’m rapping.”

Aside from acting, the “Ice Me Out” MC is gearing up to release new music. Last month, she teamed up with Wale and Eric Bellinger for the track “Single and Happy,” which is a song about feeling empowered and not having to rely on someone for validation.

“Oh, I’m working on my music,” she told XXL. “It’s on. I got fire coming. That’s all you gotta say right there. Fire is coming.”
