Back in July, Dave blessed the masses with his sophomore LP We’re All Alone In This Together, a critically acclaimed effort that saw 12 tracks with additional contributions from Snoh Aalegra, Stormzy, Boj, James Blake, and Wizkid. The project was also a commercial success, landing at the top of the UK Albums charts (twice) while scoring 74,000 first-week album equivalent units, the biggest opening for an album in the UK this year to date.

Yesterday (Sept. 8), Dave dropped off a new visual from We’re All Alone In This Together for “Verdansk,” a Kyle Evans-produced effort that sees the South London star using Call of Duty references to explain his and his loved ones’ current lifestyles:

“I see a ting that I touched, tell me about talkin’ stage, gotta tell her ‘Don’t force it,’ beef man, pepper and salt it, me and RJ gotta pull up, no talkin’, trap, you ain’t got a rack to your name, my bro Brick Lane, we don’t know about Shoreditch…”

Press play on “Verdansk” below, which matches the song’s aforementioned video game references with cinematic, military-style action scenes. Also added — the dates for Dave’s “We’re All Alone In This Together” tour, which kicks off next February and has already added a second London date due to heavy demand.
