Today (July 30), Unknown T blesses the masses with his new release Adolescence, which sees 15 songs with additional features from Potter Payper, M1llionz, Nafe Smallz, M Huncho, and Digga D. The project also follows high quality music videos for singles like “WW2,” “Wonderland,” and “Driller sh!t.”

One immediate standout from Adolescence is the Ghosty-assisted track “VIN DIESEL,” a crazy drill effort that sees both artists dispatching competitors with some of their best bars to date:

“I make opps wanna beef ‘cause I’m rapping, go pree every single face in their vid, then run out the car and attack him, if we see jakes I’m dashin, dot dot blast in the car, remember the days we were shaking acid…

But if they relap, they gotta pay back rapid, grip a two-two, then bang it, bow, opps wanna beef, but they hurt cah I mash him, my bottoms got dirt from the burst of the crashing…”

In addition to the new body of work, Unknown T has also giving his fans a live performance of sorts that sees him delivering intimate renditions of choice cuts. Presumably keeping with the aesthetic of the mixtape’s artwork, the clip sees the East London star in black-and-white, performing on a short pedestal in the middle of a room surrounded by flowers.

Adolescence follows last year’s project Rise Above Hate, which contained 16 songs with contributions from Young T & Bugsey, Young Adz, AJ Tracey, fellow 98’s cronies KO and V9, and more. The top twenty release also arrived months after Unknown T was freed from incarceration — he’d been cleared of a 2018 murder case that reportedly happened during the later hours of a New Year’s Eve party.
