Over the years, Chicago has bred some of the most notable names in Hip Hop. With names like Twista, Common, Crucial Conflict, Kanye West, Lupe Fiasco, and Bump J known as some of most elite, the newer era of Chicago rap has done a solid job at carrying the torch. Artists like King Louie, Lil Durk, Chief Keef, G Herbo, Lil Bibby and more were the perfect segue into names like Polo G. Since his arrival back in 2018, the North side rapper has made a name for himself, constantly proving his worth to this industry through his music. Today, he drops off his third studio album Hall Of Fame.

To help build buzz for this highly anticipated album, the 22-year-old rap phenom stopped by L.A. Leakers to drop some stellar bars over the late, great DMX’s “Ruff Ryders Anthem” beat and he absolutely smoked it with ease. From the moment the beat dropped, it was like Polo G smelled blood as he had no remorse on the mic. Hosts DJ Sourmilk and Justin Credible were clearly excited and in awe when they saw the remains of the beat. This did nothing but further put Polo’s name on people’s radars and make an early statement for his Hall Of Fame album.

In a recent sit-down with Complex, the rapper discussed his long term goals in this industry: “My motivation is knowing that I always want more for myself, and that there’s always a level up to keep improving. I know that I definitely ain’t reached my ceiling yet, and I know that I’ve got room for improvement on a lot of shit. So I just stay locked in knowing that, and knowing where I want to be 10 years from now: tapped into fashion, and looked at as one of the big names in fashion and an even bigger name in music.

Hall Of Fame includes features from Kid Laroi, Lil Durk, Lil Wayne, G Herbo, Nicki Minaj, Rod Wave, DaBaby, Young Thug and more! Tap in and share your thoughts with us.
