Last night (Apr. 2), Lil Tjay unleashed his Destined 2 Win album and made sure to pair the release with a heavyweight video to keep the hype going. The NYC artist tapped Offset and Moneybagg Yo for “Run It Up,” and fans are able to enjoy the Whipalo-directed visual today. On the song, Tjay opens up the track as the three link up for the flashy scenes:

Y’all do not know me, I shoot like I’m Kobe, that boy really tough on his doley though/ I keep a Drac’, ain’t no OVO I ain’t for nothing, just check my portfolio/ Really come from a block where they bang, bang, bustin’ that Glock, oh, this Glock ain’t no goalie, bro/

Say you ‘bout what you claim and then show me though/ One in the head, you gon’ die tryna toe to toe. Trench kid, no fucks, gotta run it up/ If you thinkin’ I’ma lose then you dumb as fuck, pop out, drippin’ diamonds, ooh, Bentley butter cup/ Youngest out my city, keep it smooth just to sum it up

Spanning over a total of 21 records, Lil Tjay tapped on some of the industry’s hottest acts to assist with the album’s success: 6lack, Fivio Foreign, Saweetie, Polo G, Tyga, Toosii, Offset, and CMG’s own Moneybagg Yo. Tjay also gave the reasoning for the album’s title: “I named the album Destined 2 Win cause I always felt like something in me was meant to be great,” he wrote on Instagram. “Even when shit tried stop me it never did and I kept getting up!!”

Lil Tjay released the well-received EP State Of Emergency last year in May, which saw seven tracks and features from Jay Gwuapo, Sheff G, Sleepy Hallow, Fivio Foreign, and the late Pop Smoke. One of the tracks, “Zoo York,” also saw an even bigger remix with the additions of French Montana following the original’s release. Tjay could also be heard handing out assists on tracks like Polo G’s “First Place” and Pop Smoke’s “Mood Swings.” Prior to that, he liberated his debut studio album True 2 Myself in 2019 which saw 17 tracks and features from Rileyy Lanez, Jay Critch, Lil Baby, Lil Durk, and Lil Wayne.
