Hitmaka believes Pop Smoke’s killers were behind his home invasion

Back in March, three men with guns attempted to rob the producer at his Los Angeles home.

Hitmaka believes the young men who were arrested and charged for fatally shooting Pop Smoke were the same ones who attempted to rob his home back in March.

During a recent appearance on REVOLT’s “Drink Champs,” the rapper-turned-producer spoke to N.O.R.E. and DJ EFN about how a female associate helped orchestrate the entire home invasion.

“She was sharing out the location and it was three guys with guns,” the Look What You Made Me rapper explained. “They tried to come and kick in my crib. I had the alarm on. The crazy thing is that when it was happening, instead of her being like a girl who was in the midst of a home invasion like I was, she was fighting me. She was trying to fight me. She punched me again when it happened”

Back in March, Hitmaka was accused of pistol-whipping a woman. He shut down those reports and said he was actually the victim in an attempted robbery. The producer took to Instagram to share footage from the night of the hit and alleged that the woman was involved in the entire thing.

“I must let the truth out as media outlets without having proper info are attempting to stain my character and reputation that I have spent my entire life building,” he captioned the surveillance video. “I could’ve been murdered inside my home on Saturday & I would like to take this time & thank all of my family, friends & colleagues who have reached out regarding the matter sending love and positive energy. This footage is very alarming to all my fellow people in music & living in Los Angeles area. Pls be safe and monitor who you allow in your home.”

After the incident, Hitmaka took some time away from Los Angeles and vacationed in Miami. He got in contact with Pop Smoke’s girlfriend and she told him that the same men who tried to break into his home were allegedly the same men who fatally shot the “Dior” emcee just a few weeks prior.

In July, four suspects were arrested and charged with murder for Pop’s death. Two of the suspects were juveniles and the other two were 18 and 20 years old.
