Back in July, Nuski2Squad shared his Lost Child project, with his pain-filled “Live On (Thuggin Days)” as the intro track. Now, he was able to grab G Herbo and Yungeen Ace for a revamped version of the song in preparation for his forthcoming Lil Nuski project. On the track, Nuski dedicates the hook to one of his fallen soldiers:

Even though your thuggin’ days are gone, say I still rep your name forever live long (Live long)/ Say walking through the rain with no destination, I ain’t got no home/ EJ Murda, you gon’ forever live long, and if I don’t last your name in all of my songs/ Say even if the sky ain’t blue no more. That squad head shit still run in my veins and you know for sure (For sure)/ Never once plotted on going against the grain, but my heart cold/ EJ Murda you gon’ forever live on, EJ Murda you gon’ forever live long

A rising star of St. Louis, NUSKI2SQUAD powered through his breakout season in late 2019. After overcoming the passing of his father, as well as struggles with homelessness at only 16 years old, the young rapper has delivered tracks about upbringing and life in the trenches of Missouri. After garnering attention with his song “Live On,” NUSKI released his debut project Lost Child in July of 2020 with features including Yungeen Ace, Quando Rondo, and more.

Most recently, G Herbo delivered new visuals for “Break Yoself” and “Really Like That” at the top of this month. Early last year, Herbo shared his third studio LP PTSD, which saw 14 tracks with additional features from A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, BJ The Chicago Kid, Lil Durk, Juice WRLD, Lil Uzi Vert, Chance The Rapper, 21 Savage, Polo G, Jacquees, and more. Months later, he would unveil a deluxe version of PTSD with an additional 14 tracks, essentially providing an entirely new full-length to the masses.
