This month, Ghetts will finally reveal his third studio album Conflict of Interest, which boasts 16 tracks and additional features from Jaykae, Moonchild Sanelly, Skepta, Stormzy, Emeli Sandé, Ed Sheeran, Giggs, and more. Following the previously released visuals for “Mozambique,” “IC3,” “Proud Family,” and “Skengman,” Ghetts blesses the world with another for “No Mercy,” which sees assists from BackRoad Gee and BBC Sound of 2021 winner Pa Salieu. Produced by Ten Billion Dreams, the track sees the trio delivering a message to anyone who thinks that they’re slowing down to allow the competition to catch up:

“Viola Davis, man will get away with murder, I know the pagans wan’ try take things further, try know the basics before you use that burner, old school jump out gang bang…/”

The accompanying clip sees direction from Femi Ladi, and is a collection of old-school footage and shots of the artists in dark, trippy locations. In the middle of the clip, viewers can see the veteran Ghetts instilling wisdom to his younger cohorts about “keeping your foot on their necks,” a direct reference to the song’s title and subject matter.

Conflict of Interest follows 2018’s Ghetto Gospel: The New Testament, a top 30 album that saw 17 cuts and collaborations with the likes of President T, Wretch 32, Chip, Stefflon Don, Little Simz, and Ghetts’ own Ghetto Gospel Choir.
