After their recent success on both TV and the big screen, it looks like rappers Kid Cudi and 50 Cent are teaming up for a new series.

On Saturday (Jan. 30), Kid Cudi sent out a tweet to his fans to update them on the big things that have been happening in his life within the past week. In his tweet, the Man on the Moon III rapper explains that he hopped on the phone with the “Power” creator last week to talk about the possibility of them coming together to make a new TV show. The Cleveland rapper doesn’t give much away but he seemed genuinely excited to share the news.

“Had a call w 50 Cent last week about cookin up a show together,” Cudi tweeted. “Big things happening!! Ill keep u posted. 50 is one of my favorite emcees and he’s also a really great guy w a good heart.”

Before he dropped Man on the Moon III, Cudi had a handful of roles in films like Bill & Ted Face the Music, Need For Speed, and Entourage. Prior to that, the 37-year-old had announced his plans for an upcoming Netflix series that’s based on his upcoming album Entergalactic.

Meanwhile, if there is anyone Cudi should work with for a TV show, it’s 50. His knack for creating addictive series over the years has clearly paid off. After “Power” blew up and inspired highly-anticipated spin-offs for the Starz Network, 50 Cent moved on to create another series for ABC called “For Life.”

That’s not all 50 is working on. Back in September 2020, the G-Unit founder revealed that he’s creating two new series for Starz. Although his series with Cudi wasn’t mentioned, 50 did confirm that one of the series will focus on the 12-year friendship he had with The Game.
