Back in August, Popcaan unveiled his fourth studio album FIXTAPE, which saw 19 cuts and additional appearances from Drake, Stylo G, PARTYNEXTDOOR, French Montana, Jada Kingdom, and more. Just before the new year, the Jamaican star drops off a new music video from the project for “MAMAKITA,” an adults-only cut produced by TJ Records that’s perfect for both the post-COVID dancefloor as well as the bedroom:

“Mamakita, dah body deh suh thick, seh she love see di vein dem weh deh inna mi dick, suh mi sink it in deep inna di split, but she still tek it out, den mi rub it pon yuh clit/

Position fi di Sutherland, gyal yuh good pussy never ever kill ah man, suh mi separate yuh legs dem, division, pussy good girl, yeah mi done do di revision…/”

The accompanying visual comes courtesy of Xtreme Arts and features a wealth of (probably) NSFW scenes of beautiful women in various locations. Elsewhere, Popcaan dons his Unruly gear and performs the infectious cut throughout the colorful clip.

In addition to his solo release, Popcaan also teamed up with fellow OVO Sound member Preme for the joint EP Link Up in October, which saw six genre bending tracks and assists from the likes of Wiz Khalifa and Davido. This year also saw Popcaan contributing to tracks like Jorja Smith’s “Come Over,” Dave East’s “Unruly,” Loski’s “Avengers,” and Maroon 5’s “Nobody’s Love (Remix).”

Popcaan first released his debut LP Where We Come From in 2014, which saw 13 tracks and a single collaboration with Pusha T. That project quickly earned universal acclaim from the masses, climbing to the number 2 spot of Billboard’s US Albums chart following its first week of release. He later continued that momentum with Forever and Vanquish, released in 2018 and 2019, respectively.
