This past weekend, Bay Area icons Too $hort and E-40 came together for the last “Verzuz” of the year, making for one of the best battles of the series as a whole. Making sure to benefit off the overall promotion, the two veterans also took a page from OutKast’s book to release a joint project titled Ain’t Gone Do It/Terms and Conditions, which are made up of two 10-track solo albums from each artist and a slew of featured appearances from the likes of Mistah F.A.B., Blxst, Drakeo The Ruler, Freddie Gibbs, and Brent Faiyaz.

This week, Too $hort drops off a new visual from said body of work for “Oaklandish,” an ode to his stomping ground that features fellow hometown heroes Guapdad 4000 and Rayven Justice:

“‘Cause we on E-14, my n***as in the North so cold, they be on the Eastside mobbin’, they be on the Westside slidin’/

I’m so Oaklandish … I love the whole Bay, but I’m from Oakland…/”

The video for the Ekzakt-produced banger comes courtesy of Embryo, and — and one might guess — further pays homage to the city of Oakland and the entire Bay Area. The cameo-heavy clip shows Too $hort, Guapdad, and Rayven Justice in different locations that many that are from the same location will be sure to recognize, adding to the clips replay value.

For Too $hort, Ain’t Gone Do It/Terms and Conditions follows his twentieth studio LP The Vault, which was released last year and saw 11 cuts with features from the late Pimp C, Mike Epps, Yung Holliday, and more. This year also saw $hort releasing a series of singles as part of his “Trunk Tuesdays” series, including “Pull Up” with Trae Tha Truth, “Typhoon,” “Mentor” with Problem, and “Slut” with Knotch.
