Two Bay Area legends have teamed up to deliver a bundle album that will have fans rocking all the way into the new year. Too $hort and E-40 just presented the freshly released, Ain’t Gone Do It/Terms and Conditions, a two-pack combo filled with Northern California-flavored hits. The timing of this drop is super intentional, as the new body of work arrives right on time before the two legends face off in their Verzuz battle scheduled for tomorrow night (Dec 19).

The bundle represents the fusion of each artist’s new and respective solo albums, with moments that represent old Bay Area meeting the new. Ain’t Gone Do It contains 10 hits from Too $hort along with guest features from Guapdad 4000, Rayven Justice, Mistah F.A.B., Tiny MD, BossLife Big Spence, and more. E-40 takes over for the second half, coming in with his 10 tracks and boasting assists from Freddie Gibbs, Blxst, Drakeo the Ruler, Larry June, and more.

In a previous sit-down with REVOLT, Too $hort got candid about the art of connecting with a crowd, a mindset and technique he’ll assumingly take into the battle tomorrow:

“When you’re doing a house party, my DJ booth is literally the kitchen table. When I break out the microphone and I’m rapping at the house parties, these motherfuckers are like, ‘We didn’t come here to see you perform. We don’t give a fuck about you.’ So, I learned how to deal with a crowd that close up and personal. So, when I get onstage in front of 20,000 people, I use the same technique where it’s really fucking personalized. I address people in the crowd. I do a lot of crowd participation.”
