Megan Thee Stallion may be an acclaimed rap star who occasionally tops the Billboard charts, but she also takes pride in her pursuit of higher education. Now, she’s helping two women of color fund their college courses.

On Thursday (Oct. 8), the “Don’t Stop” rapper announced she is partnering with Rap Rotation — Amazon Music’s global hip hop brand — to award $10,000 scholarships to two lucky women of color.

“College hotties, listen up because this one is for you!!!” she wrote on social media. “I am giving away two 10,000 dollar scholarships to women of color pursuing a degree in any field of study in any part of the world.”

The scholarship applies to students “that are pursuing an associates, bachelors, or post-graduate degree.”

Megan began her college studies at Houston’s Prairie View A&M University, but transferred to Texas Southern University when her music career blew up. To accomodate her busy her schedule, she became a part-time student and started online classes in hopes to complete her degree in health care management.

“Women remain underrepresented and undervalued in society and female students of color are at a larger disadvantage when it comes to access to financial resources,” a statement announcing the scholarship read. “As a Health Care Administration major studying at Texas Southern University herself, Megan is incredibly passionate about the transformative power of education and remains a strong advocate for women pursuing a college degree.”

Megan’s scholarship fund is not a complete surprise to her fans and social media followers.

In August, when a fan asked her to help pay their college tuition, the Suga rapper revealed a scholarship was on the way. “I’m actually abt to do a scholarship give away, so all my college hotties, get ready,” she tweeted.

Meg also hosted a beauty pageant in Los Angeles, California amid last year’s “hot girl summer” and rewarded the winner with $2,500 in scholarship money.

As of now, the site for the scholarship has crashed, but Meg promised it “will be back up” soon.
