Donda, Mr. West, Kanye, Roddy and Griselda all trended on Twitter Sunday (Aug. 29) morning.

Kanye West’s 10th studio album Donda went live on streaming platforms around 8 a.m. Sunday (Aug. 29) and immediately fans took to social media to share their reactions. After three eventful listening sessions — two at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta and one at Soldier Field in Chicago — Yeezy decided to unleash the album. The 26-track offering includes many of the songs ‘Ye performed for fans at the aforementioned events.

“Jail” featuring JAY-Z and Francis and the Lights made the cut, and the Kid Cudi assisted “Moon” did as well. ‘Ye played versions of both songs that didn’t feature JAY and Cudi at his most recent listening session, leaving fans to wonder if both were scrapped from the final version.

The album features a bevy of features, including Pop Smoke, Chris Brown, Fivio Foreign, Ty Dolla $ign, Playboi Carti, Lil Baby, The Weeknd, Ariana Grande, Griselda, Jay Electronica, Vory, Lil Durk, Young Thug, Roddy Ricch, The Lox, Baby Keem, Don Toliver, Sunday Service Choir and more.

Donda, Mr. West, Kanye, Roddy and Griselda all trended on Twitter Sunday (Aug. 29) morning. One fan posted a throwback photo of Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen and Dennis Rodman together on the Chicago Bulls. “The Weeknd, Lil Baby, and Kanye on ‘Hurricane,’” wrote @SidelineDuggs.

Another Twitter user wrote, “When Kanye said, “And if I talk to Christ, could I bring my mother back to life? And if I die tonight, will I see her in the afterlife?” I felt that. #DONDA.”

“Kanye West’s Donda is a cinematic masterpiece. With features from Jay-Z, Vory, Lil Durk, Kid Cudi, Playboi Carti, Travis Scott and Baby Keem, this album really has the heart and soul it needs. Great messages, and even better music. Kanye is back. RATING: 10/10,” wrote @mourautchris_.

@Lethalshooter tweeted, “I respect that Kanye West not afraid to speak about how good GOD is!!! Need more artist to speak LIFE! This generation need it more than ever! Way to not be afraid Ye. #Donda.”

“What a time to be alive @DONDA @kanyewest this sunday goes in the history books,” wrote another tweeter.

Most of the reactions, thus far, have been favorable. There are some Twitter users who seemingly do not enjoy the album and have decided they won’t be listening to it. One account on Twitter wrote, “If you are Black and buying anything Kanye West is offering, you are either sincerely ignorant of what’s he done to our community, or conscientiously stupid about it and don’t care.”

@nevzyy tweeted, “Just finished listening to DONDA, currently lost for words man, crying real tears bro, this is quite possibly the worst album I have ever heard. My ears are literally dripping with blood, currently on my way to the emergency room. Thanks Kanye West.”
