The third ‘Donda’ event took place at Chicago’s Soldier Field last night.

Kanye West held his third Donda listening party last night (Aug. 26) in Chicago, which turned out to be the biggest spectacle for his long-awaited album yet. As reported by REVOLT, a replica of Ye’s childhood home was recreated for the event at the Soldier Field stadium, inside which the rapper appeared to set himself on fire.

Perhaps the most surprising part of the show, though, was the guests that Kanye chose to bring onstage, which included his estranged wife Kim Kardashian, who wore a wedding dress; Marilyn Manson and DaBaby. Manson is currently facing multiple sexual assault accusations.

Kanye also appeared to remove Donda verses by Kid Cudi and JAY-Z, swapping the latter’s verse with a new set of lyrics from DaBaby. Fans have now listened to three versions of the 44-year-old’s 10th studio album since he first previewed it at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium last month in Atlanta.

It’s still not clear when Donda will officially drop on streaming platforms. Apple Music, which livestreamed last night’s listening event, previously listed the drop date as today (Aug. 27), but has since updated it to next Friday (Sept. 3).

Kanye has been teasing Donda since last July. At the time, he shared a snippet for the album’s purported title track, which featured a sample of his mother Donda’s voice. Kanye also tweeted and deleted a 20-song tracklist for the record. Apple Music currently lists Donda as including 24 songs.

Earlier this week, a Donda stem player became available to purchase on Kanye’s website. The player allows fans to “customize” the album by creating their own mixes using real-time looping, lossless audio mixing, speed control and other tools. The players are going for $200 and, the website states, will be shipped on the album’s release date, whenever that might be.
