Drake’s Scary Hours 2 is reportedly on pace to sell one million units. The Lil Baby and Rick Ross-assisted three-pack arrived on Friday (March 5) and precedes the Toronto star’s sixth studio album, Certified Lover Boy.

On Saturday (March 6), HITS Daily Double projected that the EP will sell a combined one million equivalent units or more within its first week. The outlet also predicts that Scary Hours 2 will hit a total of 140 to 170 million streams.

On Twitter, Chart Data reported that the project’s lead single “What’s Next” is set to debut at the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 next week, which would dethrone the chart’s current leader, “Drivers License” by Olivia Rodrigo.

If the projection proves correct, “What’s Next” will be Drizzy’s fourth song to debut at No. 1, following “God’s Plan,” “Nice For What” and “Toosie Slide.” It will also mark his eighth career No. 1 hit, joining the likes of “Work” with Rihanna, “One Dance” featuring WizKid and Kyla and 2018’s “In My Feelings.”

Rap-Up notes that “What’s Next” currently holds the No. 1 spot on Spotify’s U.S. charts and sits at No. 2 worldwide. The EP’s other tracks, “Wants and Needs” with Lil Baby and “Lemon Pepper Freestyle” featuring Rick Ross, are currently ranked at No. 2 and No. 4 respectively.

On his new SiriusXM station SOUND 42, Drake revealed more details about his heavily anticipated next project, Certified Lover Boy. Fans are still awaiting an official release date for the record, but DJ Akademiks claims the LP will arrive by April.

CLB is currently being cheffed in every way possible,” Drizzy said on-air. “I’m just really excited about the music that we’re making and I feel like I’ve locked into a zone where I’m really trying to execute on a project that’s fulfilling for my soul.”
