Lil Wayne’s forthcoming No Ceilings 3 will feature a collaboration with his former label mate, Drake. DJ Khaled shared several snippets of the track to Instagram on Wednesday (Nov. 25) and announced that he will host the mixtape.

No Ceilings 3; there’s a record on there with Lil Wayne and Drake. This shit is serious,” the mega-producer said in one of two clips while waving a lighter.

“So much fire on this tape,” he added in the caption. “THEY TRIED PUT A CELING ON OUR GREATNESS SO WE TOOK THE CEILING OFF!”

The single, which sees production by Mack Maine, features both Wayne’s and Drizzy’s vocals over a soulful instrumental. Drake opens up the track, rapping, “The blues is now kickin’ in and dinner is three Michelin / I don’t eat red meat but still got beef sizzlin’ / Know that I need discipline / I keep singing for all these hoes / They keep listening.”

Wayne can be heard in a separate cut, responding, “Everyone got their glass out, let’s drink to Weezy / Every ni**a that stare me down just came to see me.”

Along with the snippets, DJ Khaled also shared the official No Ceilings 3 cover art and announced that the full mixtape is “coming soon.” Wayne released his inaugural No Ceilings in 2009 and followed up with the sequel in 2015; both of which hit streaming services this year. The New Orleans native first floated the idea of a third edition during his August appearance on “UFC Live.”

Carter VI coming soon,” Wayne said at the time. “But, I got No Ceilings coming first. No Ceilings 3.”

The mixtape’s forthcoming collab will also mark the first time Drake and Wayne have worked together in three years, following their 2017 joint appearance on Nicki Minaj’s “No Frauds.”

During a conversation on Lil Wayne’s radio show this spring, both rappers talked about reuniting on a future project.

“Something about me and Drizzy’s songs that we do together; we are both perfectionists,” Wayne said during the episode. “So, it’s not like you send me a joint [and] I’m going to throw a verse on there. We got a standard we got to live up to; we got a track record and a legacy we gotta always protect.”
