The track can be found on ‘PAPER ROUTE iLLUMINATi.’

Back in July, Young Dolph liberated his latest project PAPER ROUTE iLLUMINATi, a 23-track compilation that also acted as a formal introduction to his Paper Route Empire collective — in addition to a notable Gucci Mane assist, rising stars like Key Glock, Big Unccc, Snupe Bandz, Big Moochie Grape, PaperRoute Woo, and Joddy Badass provide top quality contributions as well.

Today (Sept. 13), Dolph drops off a new visual from PAPER ROUTE iLLUMINATi for his solo standout “Talking To My Scale,” a DJ Squeeky-produced number that’s full of the boastful-yet-instrospective subject matter that sets the Memphis star apart from many of his peers:

“If I sacrificed myself, will I go to hell? In my trap house countin’ guala, talkin’ to my scale, my jewelry box havin’ more water than Wisconsin Dells, trap nigga, I count money better than I spell, came up from nothing, addicted to hustlin’, yeah, he my dawg, but nah, I don’t trust him…”

The accompanying clip for “Talking To My Scale” is full of CGI imagery, all of which aid Dolph in promoting the aforementioned album while bringing his street-oriented bars to life. Dolph can also be seen showing off his valuables, showcasing certain types of women that add to the overall vibe around him, rapping alongside himself, and more.

In a new sit-down with Big Tigger and Rapsody for REVOLT’s “Off Top” series, Dolph spoke on the biggest lesson he learned from the streets that’s helped him in regards to his business acumen:

“Staying focused. That’s the most important thing. … Gotta think man, it’s so much shit to get sidetracked on, you got the bitches … You got all of the materialistic shit, you got toxic friends, toxic partners, the ones that wanna give you they two cents but don’t know shit about business … it’s everything.”
