Led by smooth cuts like “I’m In Traffic” and “Out The House,” G Perico’s latest body of work — aptly titled LA Summers — officially makes landfall, complete with seven Dupri-produced songs for fans to enjoy during the warm weather months. In addition to the aforementioned, it’s impossible to overlook the standout track “Go Go Gadget,” a piano-driven offering that sees the South Central star rapping about making money, street politics, his pimp game, and more:

“My niggas hit me up and they was hanging on the block, I’m like let’s hit Fred Segal, let’s spend money, let’s go shop, let me go go gadget bankroll stack to the sky, like the way Benjamin Franklin be lookin’ me in my eye, said I’ll bang ‘til I die, and I started gettin’ rich, plus way to many people gave me the impression that they a snitch…”

Without missing a beat, he even took to social media to match the track with footage from its classic cartoon namesake:

In addition to LA Summers, this year alone has seen G Perico deliver more projects than some do their entire careers — Welcome To The Land, Free, Lover Boy Slim, No Love In LA, and the more recent Blue T-Shirt Leaks have all touched down since January. Add in a slew of top quality visuals and you have one of the most prolific artists out of the west coast right now.

Keeping his momentum going in the fashion game, this month also sees a new drop collection from Perico’s Blue T-Shirt brand, a “statement” capsule that shows to tees in red-and-white colorways, emblazons with the now-popular “BLUE” and “this is a blue t-shirt” across its chest and back area.

Press play on G Perico’s LA Summers project. Don’t be surprised if 10 more bodies of work appear before year’s end.
