Back in 2019, the A$AP Ant-led Marino Infantry unveiled the first installment of their Enter The Infantry series — a 28-song compilation that formally introduced the world to artists like Lulu P, Soduh, Lil 2 Dow, Baby 9eno, and more. Today (July 16), Ant & DJ Nick present Enter The Infantry, Vol. 2, which brings back the aforementioned artists and adds in additional collaborations with the likes of A$AP Twelvyy, OG Don 999, K$upreme, Lil Gray, and Chavo over a healthy 31 tracks. Add in a wealth of production from talented beatsmiths like Sparkheem, E-Major Unruly, Mannyvelli, Ceez Neckmusik, Lord Fubu, and Spizzledoe, you have what might be one of the most well-rounded compilations to make landfall this year.

Back in December, A$AP Ant liberated his last solo offering Lil Black Jean Jacket 2 (Ruby Edition), which — in addition to the usual suspects — saw the Baltimore star collaborating with Goonew, JMK$, and Zombie Juice. That same year also brought us the full-length project Addie Pitino and the 7-track EP I Am Underground, further solidifying Ant stance as one of the more prolific talents in hip hop right now. More recently, Lil Black Jean Jacket 2 (Ruby Edition) received the ChopNotSlop treatment courtesy of DJ illaDell from OG Ron C’s Chopstars collective. The A$AP Mob member also reunited with his group for Yams Day 2021, a bittersweet celebration that went the digital route due to the still ongoing pandemic.

Outside of music, fans and peers alike also recognize A$AP Ant and his Marino Infantry brand as one of the most creative skatewear brands out. Having been around for more than a decade (actually, much longer), the past year has seen Ant taking his merchandise on pop-up tours around the country, adding in exclusive capsules for the cities that he and his crew land in.

Press play on Enter The Infantry, Vol. 2.
