It’s been two years since we received GoldLink’s last body of work Diaspora, his well-received debut LP that saw 14 tracks with additional features from Khalid, Maleek Berry, Bibi Bourelly, Pusha T, Tyler, The Creator; WizKid, WSTRN’s Haile, and more. Since then, we have seen a few loose cuts from the D.C. emcee, including “Best Rapper In The Fuckin World,” “Dunya” with LukeyWorld, and “Sorrow, Tears & Blood” with Ari Lennox.

This week, GoldLink makes a big return with his new single “White Walls,” a Rio-produced effort that sees him on a stream of consciousness about women, going against the norm, and a certain rap peer:

“My hotel bigger than your house, rode to the bounce, sell ‘em by the ounce, I don’t do that, sell by the pound, sex with me, go four rounds, play with my style, show me respect, comin’ at your neck, I don’t show up but give me a check, and I do my best, yeah, yeah, eastside rap, yeah, yeah, fuck Sheck Wes, yeah, yeah…”

Adding to the shot thrown on “White Walls,” GoldLink also took to social media to express his disdain for Sheck Wes, which is presumably based around his apparent involvement in a conflict between Wes and his ex-girlfriend Justine Skye:

“FUKK U SHECK WES. IMA DRINK SOME CACTI AND SPIT ON YOUR WHITE TEE YOU DIRTY BUTT NIGGA. … AND SHECK IT AINT MY FAULT DAT YA MEN JUMPED OUT, GOT SPANKED THEN YA MANS GOT SHOT…”

“White Walls” is said to be taken from GoldLink’s forthcoming album Haram — that body of work will be making landfall June 18. In addition to its possible NSFW artwork, fans can also take a look at its full tracklisting, as seen on GoldLink’s Instagram account.
