Migos takes us through a “Modern Day” in new visual

The clip is their latest from ‘Culture III.’

By now, most of us have taken a listen to Migos’ new album Culture III, the third and final installment of their Culture series that contains 19 tracks with additional appearances from Drake, YoungBoy Never Broke Again, Pop Smoke, Juice WRLD, Justin Bieber, Future, Polo G, and Cardi B. Thus far, we’ve also seen visuals from the long-awaited project for “Straightenin” and “Avalanche,” the latter of which was also somewhat modified for a recent episode of “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.” Now, the trio liberate another clip for “Modern Day,” a track that was previously teased by Quavo last year.

Produced by Jordan Fox and Murda Beatz, “Modern Day” sees Migos describing their successful lives, especially in regards to money and women:

“Let’s take a modern day stroll, this is the modern day, hoe, last time I checked, we were runnin’ the globe, I’m ‘bout to go fingerfold, two knock two times, it’s a brick at the door, somebody blowin’ up lil’ mama phone, lil’ nigga just come get your hoe, I’m talking Patek on the wrist, baguette go and dance on a bitch, you know that bitch too thick (Yeah)You can’t even see the pants on that bitch...”

Directed — or “created” — by Wyatt Winfrey and Migos, the accompanying clip for “Modern Day” acts as a day-in-the-life of sorts, beginning with shots of Quavo enjoying himself on a jetski. Meanwhile, Takeoff shows off his money on a private plane, and Offset gets a shape-up before playing dice with his crew. Interspersed with their individual parts is footage of the group mobbing heavy as a unit — a true sign that their bond is a tight as ever.
