Rising R&B favorite Symphani Soto is officially gearing up for her forthcoming project. Today (Apr 30) she drops off the first taste, her freshly released single “Try” and the new track serves to prep fans for the promising tunes to come. On the song, she sings about the importance of taking a chance:

If you say that you won’t, say you will do the things that you won’t/ I suppose, I don’t know/ If you do lay it down one time could you hit it right/ Have me losing my mind over you, over you

I’m hoping that you could catch a vibe/ Can’t let this moment pass you by, don’t give up now it’s worth a try/ You better try, you better try, don’t give up now, ooh you better try don’t give up now

Prior to this were her tracks “I’m Witchu” and “Energy,” the latter song boasting co-production from Naz, Monte Booker, and Mr. Carmack. Symphani made her music debut back in 2017 with her summertime-ready “What You Want” single. It’s always quality over quantity for Symphani, as she only has one EP out as of right now but is steadily working on her craft continuously. She unleashed her i am project in 2018, which was equipped with six honest tracks and no features to ensure her own artistry beams through. Soto also dropped a loosie on SoundCloud a few months ago titled “Words,” a vulnerable cut featuring production from Camden Pench and Zach Winters.

The aforementioned “I’m Witchu” music video visual sees Symphani enjoying a calm girls night with her friend, but clearly other things are on her mind. As she resists the temptation to contact a certain someone, the visual ends up with a surprise anyway.
