At the top of the month, Symphani Soto revealed her “I’m Witchu” single, equipped with a storyline-driven music video and all. She has now officially circled back to keep her momentum going with a brand new cut, the freshly released “Energy.” On the song, Symphani lets her vocals shine over the groovy bassline:

Left me with no words to say, nothing else could make you feel that way/ Written all over your face, all gas with no breaks/ Kick it in over drive, I get stuck with the memory/

Then, hearing her on the hook will make you wish you were in front of her live band with her on the mic:

Get up under me, you ain’t goin’ no where/ Don’t hold back on me, make sure you match my energy, to get in where you fit in/ I know you could fit in.

The new “Energy” track boasts co-production from Naz, Monte Booker, and Mr. Carmack. Symphani made her music debut back in 2017 with her summertime-ready “What You Want” single. It’s always quality over quantity for Symphani, as she only has one EP out as of right now but is steadily working on her craft continuously. She unleashed her i am project in 2018, which was equipped with six honest tracks and no features to ensure her own artistry beams through. Soto also dropped a loosie on SoundCloud a few months ago titled “Words,” a vulnerable cut featuring production from Camden Pench and Zach Winters.

The aforementioned “I’m Witchu” music video visual sees Symphani enjoying a calm girls night with her friend, but clearly other things are on her mind. As she resists the temptation to contact a certain someone, the visual ends up with a surprise anyway. Soto is known for her presence in front of the camera, so it’s safe to say we can expect a vibrant visual to go along with “Energy” sometime soon.
