Back in October, Jorja Smith reveals a new single titled “Come Over,” which features assistance from Popcaan. This week, the UK songstress reveals a remix of the infectious single that now sees an assist from French star Oboy. Produced by Dre Skull, Cadenza, Pasqué, IZAÏAH, and MadisonLST, the updated version sees Oboy adding to the overall theme of an adult-themed rendezvous — only this time, the fun is headed to Paris:

“Elles disent que j’suis qu’un enfoiré, elles disent que nous deux, c’est foireux mais si tu vis, c’est pas pour eux, j’aime quand t’es dans l’euphoriе, tu m’appelles quand t’es sur Paris, j’pull up à mеs risques et périls, j’pull up à fond sur l’périph’/

Elle fait mal à la tête, j’l’ai prise par la tailleJ’cours toujours derrière le papel, ça prend grave du temps…/”

“Come Over (Remix)” was first announced by French journalist Mehdi Maïzi days prior to its release. Interestingly enough, the original version of “Come Over” saw a delay due to the COVID-19 pandemic and Jorja’s intention to avoid any confusing messages as a result:

“This is why I’m not putting it out right now, because I’m not trying to give any wrong messages. No, do not come and visit your friends!”

“Come Over” follows the previously released singles “Rose Rouge,” a contribution to Blue Note Records’ Blue Note Re:imagined compilation, and “Be Honest,” a 2019 collaboration with Burna Boy that’s since earned numerous plaque certifications in France, Australia, and the United Kingdom. Her last full-length release, the debut LP Lost & Found, made landfall in 2018.

Press play on Jorja Smith and Oboy’s “Come Over (Remix)” below. In related news, it appears as if Smith removed all of her content from Instagram — hopefully, this could mean that some new music is on the horizon.
