Since the release of the well-received Demons R Us, Doe Boy has continued to deliver dope new cuts for fans to enjoy — giving hope that his forthcoming follow-up is closer to the surface than we think. Following tracks like “Walk Down Again” with Babyface Ray, “NCAA” with Veeze, and “Muggin” with Key Glock and Kenny Muney, the Cleveland emcee returns with “Mr. Postman,” an Akachi and TooDope-produced cut that sees him delivering the clever, non-fiction raps he’s become popular for:

“Let them dogs loose, watch your ass Mr. Postman, all jokes aside, these n***as bitches, they should hold hands, I was blowing pistols way before I ever blowed bands, catchin’ opps in traffic, prolly should’ve been a toll man/”

Demons R UsDoe Boy’s collaborative album with Atlanta producer Southside — made landfall back in November, and contained 19 tracks with a slew of dope assists from Lil Uzi Vert, Freebandz head honcho Future, Chief Keef, Young Nudy, 42 Dugg, Swae Lee, and Trippie Redd. In a recent interview with REVOLT, Doe Boy explained how many of the collaborations from Demons R Us came together. He also told a pretty cool story about visiting Diddy at his residence, and how big of a moment that was for him:

“That moment when I was at Diddy’s house, I knew I was on. When I really looked around, man what the fuck am I doing in here? It’s crazy, what? P. Diddy sent me his address and told me to pull up to his house, stop playing. Shit crazy.”

Press play on Doe Boy’s “Mr. Postman” below. Given some of what he revealed about the new body of work in the aforementioned interview (“I was locked in with Zaytoven last night, Sonny Digital the night before that, Tay Keith”), fans can expect nothing but top quality when it finally arrives.
