Today (Oct. 28), Derez De’Shon has released his latest single “All Them Days” featuring rising star Morray. The new offering is a pain-filled reflection about the struggles they faced growing up. The accompanying music video is a visual representation that shows the early adolescence of both artists. For his guest verse, Morray shares the details he remembers about his humble beginnings:

Looking out the window, tryna check the vibes/ Seeing if it’s even safe to come outside/ A couple n***as spin the block see if I’m still alive, they probably put it on repeat I think I’ll stay inside/

Momma working late, nobody home with me, every light on in the house because I couldn’t sleep/ Stomach grinding like a bitch, we ain’t have shit to eat/ Ain’t no cable I watched DVDs

“All Them Days” is Derez De’Shon’s third single of 2021. In August he released ”In My Feelings” and in May, he guested on Quin Nfn’s ”Having My Way.” In September, Derez dropped ”Residue” featuring East Atlanta’s own Money Mu. This followed a 2020 that saw Derez release the third installment of Pain, De’Shon’s acclaimed series. On 2018’s Pain 2, which streamed over 150 million times, the rapper collaborated with YFN Lucci (“Beat The Odds”) and Russ (“Fallin”).

Back in April, Morray graced the world with his official debut mixtape Street Sermons, a 13-track body of work that boasted the well-received singles “Kingdom,” “Big Decisions,” and “Quicksand” — the last of which has since earned Morray a well-deserved Gold certification. In addition to appearing on Cole’s The Off-Season standout “m y . l i f e,” Morray also joined the likes of Flo Milli, Rubi Rose, Toosii, Blxst, Pooh Shiesty, and Coi Leray as the latest inductee into XXL’s coveted Freshman class.
