In the midst of the Coronavirus pandemic, Yo Gotti has been focused on his health and self-care, as can be seen in recent visuals. This week, the Memphis rap veteran delivers a new clip for “Stay Ur Distance,” which gives the listener a clear idea on how he’s been holding his fort down, and how he’s been able to stay afloat while others have succumbed to life changes:

“First week of that virus, I lost a half a mil’, let’s see who gon’ survive and who got hustlin’ skills, n***as still outside, they must don’t think it’s real, kinda miss Southside, I wanna be in that field/

My mask Dior, your b***h just hit my phone, I just might smash her more, gave her the d***, the best night in her life, what else you askin’ for? Touch my chain, I crash of course, that’s one mission you had to abort/

Thug life, n***a, I’m passionate for it, back outside, can’t find the doors, fivе, six Lam’ trucks, five, six Cullinans/”

The accompanying visual comes courtesy of BenMarc and shows Gotti in various parts of his massive home, giving the viewers some insight into his regular day. We can see him enjoying breakfast, working out, putting in work in the studio, and more.

“Stay Ur Distance” follows the single “Recession Proof,” which acted as Gotti’s first official release since parting ways with Epic for the independent route. His last studio LP, Untrapped, was released back in January and saw 15 tracks with features from Lil Uzi Vert, Estelle, Blac Youngsta, Rick Ross, Moneybagg Yo, Megan Thee Stallion, Lil Baby, Ty Dolla $ign, and A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie.
