Today (June 18) marks Trippie Redd’s 21st revolution around the sun, and he’s celebrating by gifting his fans with a new single titled “Dreamer,” which is produced by Yeezo Beats and sees him delving further into a more punk-pop sound meshed with his usual emo subject matter:

“I can touch your soul and tell you what you wanna hear, I’ll warm you when you’re cold, I keep you safe, nothing to fear/

Already know I know I felt the pain, I shedded tears, let me go blindfold, and I can still see that you’re here/

Phantom, drop the top, I’ll fix the mirror, I got hella racks, no racketeerI just made like ten million this year, this year, yeah/

I keep trippin’ away, I can’t be home, I keep driftin’ away, I’m close to shore…/”

The track is said to be from Trippie’s forthcoming album Neon Shark, which may or may not be released as a deluxe edition to the long-awaited project Pegasus. Prior to “Dreamer,” the Midwest star has blessed his fans with visuals for the PARTYNEXTDOOR-assisted “Excitement” and the Young Thug collaboration “YELL OH.”

In an interview with REVOLT, Trippie Redd spoke on how he creates vibes for his fans first and foremost:

“The songs that I make don’t really apply to my life. I make them for other people… I’m just trying to go through different vibes. I don’t want to make the same shit… it’s hard to explain. It [gets] hard in the studio trying to come up with different concepts… You [have to] put yourself in other people’s shoes or surround yourself [with] people who…can put a different type of vibe in [your] mind. I go off of other people’s energy. I make my songs ultimately for people to relate to them, and that’s a concept everybody can relate to.”
