Earlier this year, Trippie Redd delivered the Deluxe edition of his well-received 2019 project A Love Letter To You 4, which saw additional collaborations with Lil Tecca, Chance The Rapper, Lil Durk, Russ, and more. Today, the Ohio star drops off a new visual from that release for “YELL OH,” which features assistance from Young Thug.

The track sees Trippie and Thugger rapping about women and jewelry over Pi’erre Bourne’s hard-hitting production:

“She got good brain like the b***h really went to Yale, I don’t do a thing, I just make the b***h scream and yell/

With your boo thing, make a b***h n***a repel, got the blueprint, pay attention to the details/

I’m reclinin’, your card declinin’, diamonds ‘round my neck, they change the climate, your highness/”

In the animated clip, the two collaborators leave the strip club and drive to a diamond mine. They are subsequently chased by the authorities, eventually escaping thanks to giant Percocet pills. Throughout, they pass by trippy versions of regular businesses and come across otherworldly figures. The clip ends with the rappers being attacked by everybody, eventually falling to their deaths into the mouth of a giant creature.

As can be seen via the video’s disclaimer, the goal of the William Child-directed offering is to cast a light on drug use in one of the most graphic ways possible:

The concept of this video is to illustrate the various nightmares that result from the illicit use of drugs. The portrayal of drugs is intended to highlight the negative consequences associated with fetishizing drug addictions. We are by no means promoting the illicit use of drugs.
